Thank you for reporting the issue with the card “50178” (S.H.I.E.L.D. Trooper). However, we believe this isn’t a bug.
The card specifies:
The engaged player discards 1 [[S.H.I.E.L.D.]] ally or support they control.
If it functioned as you’re suggesting, it should read:
The engaged player discards 1 [[S.H.I.E.L.D.]] ally or 1 [[S.H.I.E.L.D.]] support they control.
Additionally, the programming logic may imply that “And” usually has a higher precedence than “or”. But we’re not entirely confident in this interpretation. If you find any FAQs or official clarifications on this matter, please share them with us.
