Having played one of Brite's other games Oyasumi Wonderland I was really excited to try this one out. Despite being very tired when I played Circle of the Silvernum Sword the game was easy to get through and start playing! Brite does an amazing job invoking the setting for you to imagine in while keeping the game small!

Over the course of the night I played two characters using Roll20, neither which was able to make it past the first realm but was easy to start a new run! The game plays fast, making it a great pick up and play solo experience when you don't have a lot of time and wanting to get some rolls in, and also having a lot of replayability! I think CotSS makes a great entry point for those new to solo ttrpgs or people who tend to think by drawing over writing while still keeping a solo journaling experience (also works just as well for those that prefer to journal instead of drawing).

If you want to check out my playthrough of it you can watch the VOD here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2691025352

Thank you so much for playing, Kyward. Everyone the youtube vid of their playthrough is here:

It was so great to be able to see Kywards primo journaling skills at work. They also used a novel approach to the playsheet as well.
