Hi Alice, I'm sorry to hear you're running into issues.

Did you read these lines?

"Even with a carrier army and a stalking hunter-"

"Life in the castle with Isaac has somehow settled back into another routine."

"You can start to imagine what a future would be like under this kind of... domestic partnership..."

"There's a sense of safety in predictability."

"You reach out to touch Isaac's back. He doesn't move in the slightest."

"You close your eyes, knowing he will be in the same place come morning."

After those lines it should bring you to chapter 6. If you can let me know which version you are playing that might help me to diagnose your issue as well. I'm worried about the web version becoming an issue with size.

edit: Also i reread your post and wondering if you downloaded the new version? You should be able to install over the old one and it will keep your old files. Try this first if you haven't. Good luck!

hey! sorry for the late response (got busy with my thesis) I did as you adviced me, the problem was that i didn't downloaded the updated version. I was so happy to see my saved loadings! i just finished the chapter 6 of Isaac ruote.

im actually loving even more this story! the only thing is that as I wait for each updates I kinda forget a little about isaac's lore :c, so at the start of the chapter I got confused. Do you have like a platform where you explain the lore for the characters? like a spoiler alert one, because:

-> I understand that the mc came alive/resurrected from ashes, ashes that isaac has prayed since he was a kid (why tho? i forgot this) and why those ashes 'cursed' ,as he said, his daughter?? The story hints he had many children but did he make them with a consort or like he spawned them? i ask this because he's a shy submissive cutie who doesn't seem to have experience XD that got me confused too.

And omg the part where the mc goes hunting the hunter like a girlboss and got her hands dirty while Isaac was waiting like a damsell in distress? LOVED IT. (I actually got to kill the hunter at my first try kinda pround about it)

I'll be honest i'm still trying to understand IsaacXmc dynamics, he seems to change attitude so fast and i don't understand yet what they both think of each other (other than getting more closer in the chapters). Isaac treats her like his consort kinda(??) but then becomes petty very easily and upset too, does he still hate Mc because of when she was still the ashes? XD . for the mc, I have a very high emphaty points from my choices, this makes the mc very sentimental with Isaac too at times, is she like falling for him in a natural way with a little of Stockholm syndrome with how all it started? (just curiouss) XD

Hi Alice,I'm glad you got the update working and hopefully you won't have any problems with the next update if you repeat the same process.

As far as lore goes, we are working to fill out the wiki https://allele-origin.fandom.com/wiki/Allele_Origin_Wiki:%E2%99%A1 with more content but it might be a slow work in progress. You can also feel free to ask questions either here or in the discord https://discord.gg/4Wj5383U5Y community if you're ever confused or wondering about something.

A lot of my writing can be inferred or speculated upon from gathering information from the library or various optional events so it's very possible to overlook or miss details that won't detract from understanding the main plot but maybe provide some additional insights.

Spoilers to answer your current questions:

The mc ashes are used in a ritual described in the library. Those who receive the blessing become like Isaac, immune from the plague, stops aging and possess higher strength and recovery than a normal person. Those who fail the ritual, become 'others', cursed to a monstrous, feral form. One of Isaac duty as the current heir is to produce another blessed heir to the Ashborne family bloodline, but he lost many children to become others and no longer could handle the emotional distress it caused him. As a last resort, he attempted to break the traditions of his family and resurrect the sacred ashes to free him of his duties. He has a love hate relationship with the MC because every good thing and terrible thing in his life he attributes to result of the ashes, though he recognizes after dinner that the MC has no actual intention of anything Isaac went through so his feelings often conflict. He feels intense dependency on them regardless. As far as his previous relationships go, it's hinted that he must have had several children by many wives in the past (given the shorter lifespan of the infected) though he never speaks of it. To get into spoilers, there were most likely political arrangements that he didn't have much romantic feelings about. He is only ever mentioned to have cared for his children, especially his first daughter. He is indeed, more passive and shy when it comes to showing true affection and intimacy. Hope this helps!
