Conversion should be fairly simple as you won’t need to worry about NPC stats or any sort of bespoke rules for character drowning, vehicle collision, etc.

One of the reasons I wrote CDG was to have a simpler, easier to prep system to run my favorite horror campaigns in that didn’t require lots of prep. Essentially all you need is a copy of your preferred scenario and you should be able to adapt things on the fly.
