This hit so extremely close to home. As someone who suffers from agoraphobia, PTSD, anxiety, along with other illnesses, I resonated heavily with the protagonist. The fear of something bad happening when leaving the house, the exhaustion after one simple task, questioning why I can't be a functional person like everyone around me and finding my only solace to be sleep and escapism.

Seeing representation like this makes me feel relieved that there are others who understand. Thank you so much for creating this, I ended up tearing up towards the messages at the end. ❤︎

Hello! I suffered from agoraphobia for 7 years, and I'm diagnosed with cPTSD among other things as well. From someone with firsthand experience, I promise you, it will get better. There's unfortunately no foolproof way to guarantee your confidence in going outside, but please, just don't give up hope. Do what you can to cope with the fear of the world. Remember, the majority of people on this Earth are kind, or at least uninterested, souls. We all have our own places to be and things to do. I won't lie and say the world is perfectly safe, but it's much safer than our brains lead us to believe. Try everything you can to gradually reintroduce yourself to the outdoors - Sit on your porch or balcony, find a secluded spot that's all yours, or develop a reason to go outside. Find something you care about within the physical world that draws you to it, and chase it.

Thank you for your comment and for playing!
