How should I go about creating a grab attack that functions like normal but puts the opponent into a unique "grabbed" animation?

As in: A "grabbed" animation that is different from the standard one used for most other grabs.

Easiest way is probably to modify the grabbed state to support custom animations.

And how would one go about that?
