How should I go about creating a grab attack that functions like normal but puts the opponent into a unique "grabbed" animation?

As in: A "grabbed" animation that is different from the standard one used for most other grabs.

Do i run those functions dirwctly in the fighters init scripts?

how do I change the hurtboxes to beter match the charcter during certain actions like jumping or being knocked back? My idle sprites are allot taller than they are wide and when doing other actions they protrude way above and below were the character actually is.

Okay, so ive fixed the previous issue, but now the image is cut off when i try to render it in a match. (Notice how its cut off at the top) What is the fix for that?

I tried it, just made the images on the roster disapear

I'm trying to add a higher-definition character image to the roster/ select screen, but it won't stop being way too zoomed in..How do I scale it down.

what is the highest resolution allowed for the character sprites? I was wondering if it's possible to have a less-pixellated look
