Very neat game. Cool onboarding/tutorial

I didn’t know dogs spawned at first, and it gets a bit boring in early game to cover the big play area (single player).

Not having a walk animation is understandable for a short jam and so many different characters, but it’s very noticeable when at first it’s all about patrolling around.

Neat idea to have different dog breeds and barks, makes me look forward to seeing the new dogs and recognize their barks to run where I have to, and is a great fit for the theme.

I liked the weapon knockback and straight line effect, and being able to fire again so quickly feels like a cheat but it’s probably necessary.

I noticed the UI can get jittery, maybe try placing it under a separate CanvasLayer instead of repositioning it with the Camera or player position… or maybe it was something else, I dunno.

Finally it’s awesome that you implemented multiplayer with a very nice character select screen, I will try to play it again

Thanks for playing and the feedback! I agree with all of your suggestions for improvement. The early game gets boring bc when I tried making enemies spawn more frequently/in greater numbers they would quickly accumulate in an unfair way. But of course, there were smarter ways I could have gotten around that!
And you're spot on with the UI needing a separate CanvasLayer. The jittering is fixed by enabling pixel-perfect mode in the options menu, bc that's one of the things the mode does (more-or-less), but for whatever reason I didn't use the same logic for the non-pixel-perfect mode. I'll update the game page to suggest ppl consider using that mode.

I appreciate the feedback and I'm happy you enjoyed the things you did!!
