So I launch the game and think "wow, that's a pretty neat looking planet." Then continue through what is, in my opinion, an unreasonably good platformer for a two week jam.  I immediately feel dissatisfaction once I get the first chroma node and it drains the color away from the map and realize what I'm in for. I'm actively making the map less interesting by trying to progress. I begrudgingly complete my task and when I arrive back on the menu, I'm greeted by a totally colorless planet!? I audibly groaned "oh noooooo..." So rude. My day is ruined.

Great platformer controls. I knew exactly which upgrades I needed when I was stuck and knew when to leave and revisit a section.  I'm going to leave you with two unsolicited critiques so your day is less good now too.

1) When playing full screen and you try to back out of the shop with escape, it returns from full screen. I see you already fixed that by making tab toggle it, but the text at the bottom of the shop screen said hit escape to exit and my brain didn't even think to hit tab again until I finished the game.

2) There was a missed opportunity to ramp up the difficulty by making desaturated areas more deadly by the spikes being completely hidden without the color adding contrast. You could make the players traverse through the map to an exit, and they'd have to deal with increased difficulty because of their choice to ruin the planet.

Really though, great job. You should be proud!
