One of the better games I’ve played for this jam. The combat system is extremely unique and while it could’ve used a tutorial once I got the hang of it it was rather satisfying. It’s a little rough around the edges*, but given that it’s a game made in 9 days that’s more than acceptable and it’s insanely impressive that it’s as good as it is.

*Slash sfx are a little too loud, the boss’ telegraphing is a little muted, the aforementioned lack of tutorial, and the fact that there’s a relatively easy exploit that lets you consistently take a third or so off either boss in one combo.

Thank youuu, I think I've overlooked all of those things not thinking they were important but now that I thought about it, it was very vital for these types of games.

I think it’s one of those things where the polish makes a bigger difference than you’d think. In my game I definitely feel the lack of sfx and I wish I had taken some of the time spent on other elements and put it into that instead.
