There's not a whole lot I can say about this game unfortunately, however I always try to give feedback to devs whos games I play so I will say a couple things. The Isometric level design lacking diagonal movement is really annoying especially since diagonal movement is a feature that GBS has. But the music is pretty alright and the actual asset art does look pretty good. All in all this game feels like more like a tech demo than an actual complete product, and to be fair that's fine! Ideas like these flourish from small concept games like this and I hope you keep making games and continue improving!
Hey, thanks for playing! I’m not sure if you are familiar with the game Yume Nikki, but Sleep All Day‘s mechanics and general gameplay are heavily inspired from that game. This includes things like sprawling, esoteric landscapes with little to do besides wander and even those isometric areas with no diagonal movement (which I recognize can be a tad frustrating for players so I limited that function to the Alleyways part of the world). I understand this style of gameplay isn’t for everyone, but thank you anyway for trying it out!
