I believe they posted elsewhere that it is the latter. The pdf says to use the app so....kind of can't play until we get it. Devs can you at least post instructions somewhere? Or point us toward it if you did already?
For the first time you level up the calendar says what are your new statistics and that you have 2 points to allocate however you want
