I really like the changes for the new lonelog from 2.0 and would like to print and bind it again. But I find the actual version a bit cluttured. I would like a strict version, without version migrations or other comments. Just straight the rules, just if there was never a other version. Clear and crisp for newcomers. Migrations and comments should go in a extra file, with version changelog and so on..

I thank you for your work and passion on this, its really great!

I strongly disagree with this. This is a living document and system. Versioning is part of the deal

Then the strict version would probably not be for you. You could still use the current version. Gustel is not saying the current version should be *removed* in favor of the strict version - they want an *additional* version, I think.

That’s where the CC license comes to help. Anyone can definitely compile their “build” of this

Yeah, thats what I tought after the first answer. Thank you so much for releasing under CC license!

If I build that strict version, what would be the best way to share it, if others are interessted too?

feel free to host it anywhere you like!

To be honest, now that I've reviewed it and made my edits, it's not as much as I thought. It doesn't really warrant its own version after all.

I definitely overreacted.
