Getting "invalid target (bad user)" error despite checking it's the right username

Hey there,

I've been trying to update my game through butler but I keep getting the error: creating build on remote server: itch.io API error (400) : /wharf/builds: invalid target (bad user)

The line of code I'm using is: butler push C:\Users\combi\Documents\Projects\”Projects Games”\CinderellaBoyfriend-1.0-dists\CinderellaBoyfriend-1.0-mac.zip combi-m/cinderella-boyfriend:mac

The solutions I saw online and tried were to check that the username was correct (which it was, and I even tried changing it and trying again to no avail), and to logout and back in.

Neither is working, any ideas what might be happening? I just downloaded and got butler going, so maybe is there an extra step I have to take in my account like giving it permission or something? If it somehow matters, the game is currently set as restricted.

I'm getting the same thing. It's really annoying because I didn't see any other steps.

Okay, I figured it out and it's stupid. You have to enter your username with hyphens like it appears in your url, not with underscores.
