Overhaul Collections Management

Hello! I've finally gotten around to looking through a few bundles I've gotten over the years, and I'm finding there's a lot to be desired about the features around collections. So, here's some suggestions for functionality that would improve them.

  • Add the "Add to Collection" overlay to bundle items so opening each item isn't required to put it in a collection.
  • Allow for a mass move of all of a collection into another, a merge of sorts, from a person's library screen.
    • And/or, allow for an option to select certain items and move those en masse from within the collection's page.

Some features that could be tougher to implement, but no less useful:

  • An actual "My Collections" page, rather than redirecting to My Library.
    • This page might have a handy quick list of collections to jump to on the side, and may even allow collection grouping.
  • Allow the move of items by category (e.g., Puzzle, Adventure, etc.).
  • Present options to sort a collection by alphabet, price, or other helpful factors.

Thank you for taking the time to read my suggestion! I hope you take it into account for future development of site features.

I don’t need these features sorry. But to be able to manage links to other people’s collections. That would enable a network of prescriptores in a more robust less hypey way compared to following through the feed.

personally i like this idea, specifically, id request the ability to sort by recent upload date, so we can have an easy search in our library for updates to all our games without having to check each game individually. if they can be sorted by most recent uploaded file to the games' downloads selection, it would make it immensely easier to find games that have received updates from the developers.
