You pretty much hit the nail right on the head with that assessment, except for the running out of time part, I was just so ready to release my first game that I shipped it out despite wanting to do more. But hey, that's what remasters are for right? I'm glad you thought the game wasn't dissatisfying, I was kinda worried that with the "build up" not really having anything to build tension, that the ending would fall pretty flat.
