I really like the combat, it was strategic, yet simple enough to keep things fast-paced. I would say one thing to do would be to have a break in between waves. Even if not much happened, it is hard to feel the transition right now between them and can feel like one endless stretch of combat. It would be more rewarding with a simple, "wave clear!" statement or something similar. Also, it was hard to see the text for enemy specs in the corner, maybe move them somewhere more visible? I loved how you could zoom in/out on the battle, it was a nice touch. Overall, the game has great potential and is really fun!
