Hello, thank you so much for liking the game so far.

As it's my first time doing a visual novel, I had doubts about whether my game was good enough and your comment gave me a lot of confidence.

Many parts in the game are inspired on the time where I was staying in my hometown; where families are far away from each other and have their own farm, which is why:

  • The choice to take care of the farm or do something else is very significant; as just the journey alone can take you from a quarter to half a day.
  • That tending the farm is very time-consuming and pays little to nothing, it's more of a family-helping-each-other-to-have-enough-food thing. (Mary takes care of the farm mainly to ease Grandma's worry, not to earn money.)

As for the dreams, all I have to say is that maybe they aren't just dreams *wink wink*.

With the themes clash & crush and toxic love, I went with a more subtle and ideological route; where someone may not actually be like how they appear. Be on the watch out for the choices as they specifically shown certain options for a reason.

I hope you have fun trying out all the endings.

Best regards,

Difffy

That's one heck of a visual novel for a first time. It's one thing to have no bugs (none that I've noticed) or even going beyond the basics of Ren'py. But I could tell you: I'm not new to making visual novels but I don't know how you did some of the things here.

And the context makes it more interesting. :)

Haha, thanks for the compliment, it was just pure will and a delusion (maybe a little too much caffeine nights q(≧▽≦q)).
