Just got all the endings, and wanted to say I really enjoyed figuring out who the killers were. The game doesn't hold your hand too much, but there's some nice telltale clues. I'm interested to hear how other people reached the right answer.

SOREN: He was my first guess. He has a few creepy moments throughout the game, and clearly becomes upset when he finds out about Adam and Evander dating... Shortly followed by Starface targetting Evander. I also noticed that he specifically tells Adam to get far away from Timmy's apartment, presumably to make cleaning up the body easier.

JON: Easy, in the Dead End ending, Starface talks with a country drawl. That and his general hatred of Adam at the awards show.

ABZI: The Violent and Gutless endings make this one obvious, although I had some trouble actually getting to those endings. Notably, he was also being a mentor to Jon, tying them together.

JOHN: Didn't make the connection right away, but should have realised if Jon was involved, so was John. Also occurred to me that he's probably the one who spiked Adam's drink at the awards show.

HUNTER: I'll be honest, I only picked Hunter after I got the first three and then realised the killers are the five on the game's title screen; Soren plus all the studio exclusives. He has some creepy survival of the fittest thinking. He's presumably also the one who attacks Adam at the awards ceremony, choosing to use a hammer. Explains why he didn't attend the award show (Chuck gets a free pass because he has no real connection the others, and is the only performer who isn't super intense in some way).

I thought Soren was the one who killed Evander, but turns out that's not the case. Jon was the only one I figured out first since I saw Dead End first before the True End. But everyone else was after seeing True End

I'm curious who killed Timmy though. It seems like it was Soren, but he also said his chainsaw was not sharp enough. And I don't think John and Jon could severe Timmy's head with their weapons

Funny in the end, how Chuck seems to be the actual good one and is safe from any danger

Great detective work everyone! Tbh, I was always a bit nervous that I made some of the killers too obvious (before seeing certain endings that is), so I'm glad that Neon described it as "non-hand holdy". 

Also, I was very inspired by 999, in that you really didn't get a good picture of who the villain was until after experiencing several dead ends/endings. After seeing a few endings, the whole picture of this crew of murderers becomes clearer.

ABZI: Responsible for River's death and many other pornstars like/before him, mastermind behind all the killings in general. His scythe is the sharp weapon responsible for cleanly decapitating Timmy. Then Abzi has Evander killed, yes due to Soren's request, but it works out for Abzi's true goal of breaking Adam.

SOREN: Orchestrated Timmy's death, distracting Adam allowing The John's to clean up the corpse after Abzi and The John's torture and then decapitate him. Targets Evander later in the story. It's revealed , Soren revels beside Timmy's remains in the True End.

THE JOHNS: They participate in the killings of both Timmy and Tad.

HUNTER: Tosses Evander over the cliff at Abzi's behest.

And so, all 5 have their hands bloodied and why Adam allows vengeance  in The True End.

999 is some great inspiration for a game like this! I really appreciate that you put serious thought into who did what and left subtle clues in there, without feeling the need to spell it out.
