Pretty cool concept, to defend a base while also growing your plants! Some questions I had: Does growing your plants get you anything? What is the trigger for the next wave? It also takes a bit too long to get new weapons.

Perhaps you can simplify the gameplay by removing the status bars. Let's say you start with a half-grown plant, which you can grow but donuts can un-grow. Then fully growing all your plants would trigger the next level... Just a thought!
