I didn't even try adding pics yet, but I think you can do it by just creating a .png file with the same name of the level and it should work.

Nope, doesn´t work, tried it with both "Menu" and "Image" Folder. Game doesn´t recognize them...

They must be placed in "Levels" folder, sorry, forgot to mention that

Ur welcome! Also I renamed levels from 1 to 9 with a 0 (01, 02, 03...) So they appear in the correct order. The problem is you have to change this on the engine too, so game loads level 02 instead of 2, for example

Really damn awesome!!! Added your Quality of Life features to the specail Build.  And some nice QoL features on my own as well... 

Thinking about adding Bonus Levels to this Build, one example, it you do some extra Step you are getting Level 2 and 3 from your Sad Satan Revisited instead and than it loops back to Level 4 like nothing is different. So you can have Level 2 in different Filters and with Loadingscreen for Level 3 instead of being seamless like in my  Build where Level 2 and 3 are combined to one single Level.

Just one example, If you add Levels like this the Pacing of the OHC Levels is not interupted. This is how I would add the DRSG and Clone Levels into this Game!!!

I'd upload it as a separate mod / patch. Also I know what you mean, I had that in mind, if I do that, base game, clone and DSRG clone are NOT going to be connected in any way. Is taht what you meant, right?

Yep, exactly that!!! Connecting them mandatory would only destroy the pacing of OHC Levels, if you could add them to be optional somehow...  

I did some experimenting with Bonus Levels...

I tried to add additional Ending triggers to some Levels so you can decide what Level you are going next but this can break Ending Triggers, no matter what ID or Level you set them for some Reason they always load the wrong Level when you have 2 or more Ending zones  so its pointless trying to add them this way. 

Have you played the Fan Game "weirder than real Sad Satan"??? It´s here on Itch.io as well. You can´t beat this Game because you are trapped in some sort of Level load Script Error. After Level 8 you are sent back to Level 6 again in a Loop with no way to progressing further.

After checking Level 8 in Terror Engine i noticed this Level had 3 Ending zones, you see now what the Issue is right??? 

The Dev tried to do the same thing as me and like in my Example broke the Ending zone trigger so you need to cheat to beat the Game.

Btw here is my Playthrough, have added Timestamps so can see what I mean:



Terror Engine can be such a Bitch sometimes.

And with Level Select you don´t even need to connect them in any way, this just means Level Select is mandatory for your patch, no big deal!!!

Totally! I've played that version. I know what level you mean. But that clone it's a little creepy tough, there's hidden images in some folders... And the other Sad Satan ripoff that dude made it's like wth? Straight up n*zi shit... That dev creeps me out...


I know, I've tried that too long ago, but for some reason you can't have 2 exits or more in 1 level. Can't even do the most basic stuff with Terror Engine 😭
