Just finished issacs route and wow. I adore the lore drop in the beginning. It really puts his whole character into perspective for me. I did like him quite a lot before, but i was seeing it more as a guilty pleasure sort of love interest. Now his more volatile behavior makes sense. He wasn't lying when he said like "everything in my life is because of you" or something along those lines in chapter 5.
like it 100% wasn't mcs fault (or at least thats what it seems like rn) but I could totally understand being bitter towards mc. Like we weren't really a person to him even when he did have a hopeful opinion on the Ashes as a kid. We were put on this pedestal and worshipped like a god than condemned like one. He did everything right according to what he was taught and then got screwed over his whole life. And then we finally get ressurected and we're just this regular dude who knows nothing about the torment he went through and now hes got no one to blame. Bro I'd crash out too 😭
I will say the end of the chapter got me so SAD and pissed at issac . I had to kill my Anthonyyyyy for him 😢. I did love how the tracking event was set up tho- that was really fun.
Now I'm off to play the other two routes! I gotta replay cuz I lost my og save files ✨️
