Unicorns are serenely beautiful equines known for their prominent horn. This horn is never used in combat and is instead believed to be a display of the unicorn's health and fitness. Male unicorns tend to have the largest horns.
Unicorn horns are said to have healing properties. This has resulted in widespread poaching which threatens to drive the unicorn into extinction.
Another unique trait that unicorns possess is a wide variety of coat colours. In order of rarity, unicorns can be white, pink, blue or purple. Some unicorns have a mixture of these colours, which is an incredibly rare trait.
