Monster Codex: The Hob
Hobs, also referred to as hobgoblins, are small humanoids that are a close relative of the common goblin. Unlike their cave-dwelling cousins, however, these creatures live within the homes of people. It is advised to allow the hob into your home, as they can prove beneficial to the homeowner(s). Hobs are solitary, and only one hob may inhabit a home at a time under usual conditions, so overcrowding is rare.
Hobs are willing to cooperate with those who are respectful towards them, often doing tasks around the property free of charge. When disrespected, however, they can be a major nuisance and are capable of intense property damage.
Hobs have little care for shiny objects, which sets them apart from common goblins. Instead, they opt for soft materials such as cloth or linen in order to create comfortable resting grounds. Giving them articles of clothing is considered one of the kindest gestures one can give.

Monster Codex: The Zombie
Zombies are reanimated cadavers with a desire to consume the flesh of the living. They are incredibly hostile and should be avoided at all costs.
Zombies are allegedly the result of an ancient curse, similar to werewolves. This zombie curse is also transmitted through bites.
It seems as though zombies lack self-preservation instincts, which is a fatal flaw that can be utilised in the event you are ever being hunted by these undead horrors.
Zombification is not limited to humans. Most species can become zombies. Any wildlife found near a known zombie site should be evacuated immediately to prevent the curse's spread.

Monster Codex: The Sea Serpent
Sea serpents are a sailor's worst nightmare. These reptilian monstrosities are highly territorial, and will attack anything that enters their feeding grounds. It is recommended to avoid sailing over a sea serpent at all costs. You will not survive.
Sea serpents are some of the largest predatory animals in the world, although no actual measurements have been made due to their aggressive and elusive nature.
There are reports that harpoons are unable to penetrate the scales of a sea serpent. This is true, and is yet another reason not to seek out these underwater terrors.
