As I see, you have successfully summoned at least 1 waifu. Try to reset user data by deleting the whole folder "%APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\WaifuElements" and run the game again.

after deleting the files, everything starts over again as in the video, so I don't see the point in showing the moment of deletion.

I have tested myself a clean game instance and can't confirm any similar issues, unfortunately. I also released a new update, v.0.3.6 and hope the problem in your case will disappear. You can download it here: https://unirion.itch.io/waifu-elements#download
