Fun idea, but there's a lot of small problems holding it back.

Speed is meaningless as far as I can tell, since you always just take turns attacking. So any equipment that trades main stats for extra speed is an immediate write off.

Every unlockable slot being shields means that you're damage basically doesn't improve after your first couple of runs. Especially since weapons seem to be capped at uncommon rarity, so I never found a weapon that dealt more than 4 damage.

Enemy abilities seem to just not work at all.

Your equipment randomly turns invisible when you die sometimes.

I'd love to see it polished up and expanded though, there's definitely a lot of potential there if you wanted to turn this into a larger project

Yeah, there are still a couple of bugs in there—the main one being that higher-rarity weapons are not spawning in chests. Also, enemy abilities are displayed but not yet active in this update.

When you die and the inventory becomes invisible, you can just press R to restart the current room and it will go back to normal.

SPEED determines who starts first in fights; it will also work with some item passives when they become active in the next update.

I submitted at the last minute, so I didn't have time to check for those bugs. I'm working on the fixes right now! :)

V2 is out with all major bugs fixed!

This update brings new enemy death animations, all weapon rarities now spawning in the higher rarity chests, visible unlock costs for slots, and many more gameplay enhancements.
