For some reason the game won't start for me, I just get a black screen without any loading screen or anything, running on Firefox

Screenshots look interesting though so I'll follow in hopes of an update or downloadable version <3

Great idea for a game, I hope you continue with it after the jam <3

Some small QoL suggestions if you do decide to:

Being able to see a characters full set of slots after you've selected them

Showing each slots effects when hovering over them

Showing characters slots in the shop while you're buying new slots

Had a run of bad luck where I didn't draw any priests, eventually both me and the AI managed to fill our boards with unrevealed cards without any priests and got softlocked :p

Great bones for a game, definitely look forward to how you improve it

Great base for a game with a few small issues here and there, definitely look forward to following your work

Love the game so far, but I started getting a crash everytime the game starts up

Since the harvest timer varies up and down a bit it would be nice to see how long the next one is going to be, so you can know whether or not there's enough time for a given tree to grow during the next harvest

Very fun concept and a great demo to showcase it.

Managed it in 3 runs thanks to pure luck in finding my last building (imp pottery) while I was just building out

Bought all the upgrades and unlocked all of the work options, no idea how to get in to admin though.

Great game, I'd definitely reccomend it

Understood, thanks for the help

Any way to disable controller support for the game?

Enjoying it a lot but when I'm letting it run in the background while I play other games my controller is still affecting it

An explanation of the scoring system would be nice, I don't know if I should be trying to make "hands" for score or just shoot for the highest total numbers

A very cozy game with great art and relaxing music.

I couldn't figure out what the right hand icon on the plants meant though, no matter where I put them the tree icons were always unhappy and the other icon was always happy.

Also the spreading plants had a tendency to spread on to invalid tiles, growing new plants on top of other plants, on walls, and in the water

Fun baltro-like, it would be great if you could reorder your boards

Gnorp wasn't the first of this style of game

Game freezes whenever the AI uses a hammer, I think he forgot that he still has to pick a pill :p

Great atmosphere and environment <3

Great atmosphere, but I could never make it very far because I'm terrible at math :p.

If you continue developing this I think having the running score as you play indicate how your combos will affect the score, I can never keep track if the final value will be odd/even after being multiplied or just not realising that I was  playing a combo since the score just shows the card value

(1 edit)

Very fun little idler, reminds me of gnorp apologue

I'm excited to see what you add in future updates <3

Managed a 15.09 as my first sub 16, felt pretty good but def still far from perfect

I keep getting this error when trying to load the game

"Error: Couldn't load project data at path ".". Is the .pck file missing?

If you've renamed the executable, the associated .pck file should also be renamed to match the executable's name (without the extension)."

Everytime I've tried to play the game crashes the second or third time I try to open either the dig or upgrade menus

Very fun little idler.

I had two minor issues, but given thet scope of the game they're not big deals.

1. There isn't really a point to upgrading nests, since it's more efficient to just buy a new one and by the time the space they take up would be an issue you can just afford to delete them. If you plan on expanding this or anything I'd reccomend having nests be unlimited and make upgrading them be more expensive but let you buy higher level creatures for a higher price.

2. I'm not sure what upgrading ATMs does, if anything at all.

Those aside, great little game

I liked the pixelated stock photo artstyle and the gameplay loop could be good if it was exapnded a bit, but the themes/story and actual horror fell pretty flat for me

Thanks for the response.

I completely missed the adjacency bonus :p

Back to progressing now and really enjoying it so far

<3

I like the idea.

I'm at the point of trying to unlock the 3rd builing in the second tier and I assume you're supposed to quickly switch out buildings to get enough wood, but the timeline just moves way too fast for me to do it

I think this is a great idea, and with some more content and polish could end up being a great game.

That said there's a couple of glitches I'd like to report. Firstly, the quests and recipes menu on the side just stopped working at some point, I could still scroll up and down but I couldn't swap between menus or dismiss it.

Second, you can process the same ingredient multiple times by putting it in a different tool while it's being processed. For instance, I put the chef and tomato on a cutting board, before it's finished move the tomato onto the bowl, when the chef finishes you have chopped tomatoes and the original tomato stays in the bowl

BREAD TIME

managed to get 57, I only lost because sometimes both knees could show up in one leg and it messed with the hitbox for the bone fragments.

Fun game, I think you did a great job

Seems like a great base to expand on, it's already very fun as is.

A way to see what each units stats and abilities are before you pick them and without having to worry about time would be great, so you don't have to play a run with each unit to really know how they work.

An active pause could be interesting too, to let you plan out combos or time abilities more easily.

Great prototype overall

Great game and a very unique concept.

Was the alien language influenced by Celtic languages at all? It looked fairly similar to Irish to me
