I’m using a Dell Latitude 5490 with Intel HD Graphics 620 on Windows 10/11.
I’ve tried all the suggested fixes: Launching with -dx11 and Running as administrator Disabling fullscreen optimizations  Windowed mode Setting graphics to low Resetting config files Unfortunately, the game still crashes at the loading screen and sometimes freezes Windows, requiring a restart. I just wanted to report this so you’re aware of the issue on Intel integrated graphics laptops     but a question i have is will i ever be able to run it in the future or not? because yeah no i dont expect a complete code overhall (if thats how it works) for one random user

Thanks a lot for the detailed report — I really appreciate you taking the time to test and write all of this.

We really want the game to run for everyone, and you’re not the first person to report issues on Intel integrated graphics, so this is something we’re actively paying attention to.

That said, to understand what exactly is going wrong, we need crash logs. Without logs, it’s very hard to pinpoint the cause, especially with integrated GPUs. The fixes I mentioned earlier actually helped many players, which is why I suggested them first.

If you don’t mind, please join our Discord and send the crash logs there — that would help us a lot in figuring out whether this can be fixed and how.

I can’t promise a full engine-level overhaul, but if there’s a way to improve compatibility, we’ll definitely try.

I checked %localappdata%  and %appdata%, but there is no CrashReportClient  folder or crash logs.
It looks like the crash causes a hard freeze , so Unreal doesn’t generate logs before Windows locks up. (i think) sorry man

Also, to be completely honest — the hardware itself is quite weak for this kind of game. Intel HD Graphics 620 is very limited, especially with UE5.

That doesn’t mean it’s impossible to improve compatibility, but it does mean there are hard limits we’re fighting against. That’s another reason why the logs are extremely important — to see whether this is a fixable issue or a hardware limitation.

so even on low its a issue for this model?

Yes
