there is no ‘assembly’ for pico8. all games uses the same language: LUA

sorry i'm new in coding and PICO-8. but i know that there are those low level commands that let you directly change bits of memory with peek and poke. and i assumed that normal comands and functions would consume much more processing power as they are less precise.   

peek&poke are used but that’s relatively marginal and doesn’t really replace lua commands.
