I had thought to start with 2 penguins, but i feel like it went by too quickly that way. We had other plans that we had to scrap to save time: a research igloo that allowed you to upgrade the penguins speed and carrying capacity, and a whole other resource to gather (snow) that would have been required for the igloos.
