Thanks for sticking it out!


I'm doing some more tweaks for the next build that should help with that - reducing enemy movement speed a tad and increasing Calli's movement speed, also a couple upgrades to help - life steal and critical hit chance! But there are also some more changes to balance that out (ehehe), so that makes me wonder if I might need to reduce the enemy health slightly too...


Same with Kronii, she's being adjusted a bit too. Unfortunately I went a little overboard on the number changes after the first build went up, and it might have hindered the gameplay loop a little too much.

But it means a lot that you kept trying and beat Kronii despite the odds!



I haven't seen much comment on the time limit, but if it continues to comes up as an issue, I can tweak the numbers on the upgrades to increase the time modifier and time gain during a run. I wanted runs to be quick, but the actual time management to continue to be an issue, even in late game, so I didn't want to be too generous, but I don't want it to hurt the gameplay experience, either.

Glad to see you working so much on the balance!

I think that the more you have to do in any level the more the time limit will feel too short. I do think that quick runs are good, but they should allow you to do many things.  At least in my runs I was okay as long as I didn't fight anyone, was that your intention? If I fought anyone it was too little time.

Hope that helps you with the balance, and I do agree that I may be an outlier ;-P

Thanks for giving more detail - definitely sounds like I need to turn the health down a bit then!


I originally envisioned hopping in, opening some crates, killing a few enemies, and then at that point needing to make the decision to extract early or push your luck to get some more loot but run close to the time  


So tuning down the enemy health a bit should skew it in the players favor a bit more to squeeze in a couple more kills before having to leave (hopefully)!
