I'll be honest, I hardly gave this game a try because of the "earn money" minigame. It is impossible for me using my laptop's built-in mouse. I always fail due to needing another second more to hit the last letter. After wasting two in-game days, I figured F it. If I can't make money, why try progressing the story at all. It also doesn't help there is no tutorial. It just slams a bunch of pound signs on the screen, making me just sit there the first time expecting the mini game to begin when the timer hit 0, like it was a 'ready, set, GO!' timer. I took a shower, washed dishes, studied for school, then failed repeatedly at earning money. Giving up there, sorry.
