I haven't been able to get this to work on real hardware. Burnt the cdi to cdrom, and it reboots to bios immediately after the dreamcast boot animation and sound :(
I've uploaded a padded version which will hopefully fix your problem!It booted without any issues on my 2nd Dreamcast (with a disc-drive) here.
