Having base dmg always be 1-XXX is silly imo. Its a fun game, but the balance is *wild*. Items, talents, something should increase base dmg eventually. I had a dmg range of 1-1200 at one point. I gave up and went a pure tank/thorns/regen build and shocker.. I was unkillable and stopped having issues.
I'll say this. It is a fun idea for a game. But again, and I can't stress this enough. The balancing for most aspects is terrible. Tier sets are just... pointless. At one point you can get a tier set that gives you 100 dmg + 100 lifesteal, but the enemy has like 3k+ hp and does 1k+ dmg per attack. It stops being relevant before you even get the full tier.
I can't stress enough. Base dmg needs to not just stay at 1 the whole game. Thats crazy bad design.
Last thing I'll say is the mining time requirement is crazy. It essentially requires you to mine like 80% of the game for God Shards, or just minerals/mining XP. Like, you could, if you want, largely ignore the entire Combat section of the game and just mine and you would be better off overall. Just do mining/crafting. If you removed Combat entirely from the game, you could do *just* mining* and it would progress the same. You can still make the gear, sell it for gold, and continue mining more. Again, since the set bonuses are pointless, simply mining/crafting is the best overall. But in that regard, it also becomes incredibly boring.
The upgrades for Mining are crazy. You need wayyyyyyyyy too many minerals + a massive gold cost, for a measily 3% increase. Either keep the costs the same, but increase it to like 10% mining speed, or dramatically reduce the costs of both minerals and gold.
Again, fun game, fun idea. But balancing is just way off. Needing 100 God Shards to upgrade 1 item? With an RNG system attached to it? Come on...
