This is great and very well-written! I high-key dig Kailee and Kalea, but I'm most excited to meet Santi, Misty, Jong-woo, and Luc based on the RO list given to us.
[Partnering Up] I couldn't get anyone to pick me but Kalea from Arrival onward, so I'm curious. Does that change depending on your answers in the very beginning (during the interview) or it is set just to heighten the drama and tension later? I'd rather it be for drama sake than ROs being hard-locked due to my answer to the questions at the start.
[The Advantage] I love the advantage given to the MC if they win the Wait, What?! game. Usually it would be stealing a partner, but I actually like this one better since your decision could define you as selfish or selfless individual; thus effecting how the other ROs view you later on. Not gonna lie though, if the advantage had been to swap someone out, I absolutely would've swapped whoever was going with me with Kailee just so she's forced to endure the Cold Zone with me after "twisting the knife".
[The Cold Zone] While I like the possibility that you can be saved by the arrival of Marcel and Misty, I also kind of love the idea of the MC being sent to the Cold Zone right away (despite gunning for a particular character). It invites conflict and the choice to be petty or forgiving later. That and getting iced out with someone lends an opportunity to see: how they hold up in an extreme environment, if you can grow closer despite not getting chosen, and the chance to help or forsake them during those few days (and if they are the type to do the same).
[The Interview] The only thing I'd ask to be added is an "open-minded" or "flexible" answer to the dating style question. I tend to go based on my partners comfort level, so I can just as easily enjoy a monogamous relationship as I can a polyamorous one.
