Partnering up: For this demo, Dmitry and Kalea are available for pairing, and whether they mutually bid on you depends on your relationship status and what you say to them before bidding. That said, early weeks are a bit more structured by design to set up tension and dynamics. Later on, things open up a lot more, and you’ll have much more freedom over who you pursue and how.

The advantage/Cold Zone: I’m really happy the advantage landed the way it did! Ch. 2 is definitely going to lead to more consequences, but I’ll keep the rest close to the chest for now, since this is still just ch. 1 and there’s plenty more mess and drama ahead.

At this early stage, the focus is mostly on getting a feel for the setting, systems, and a few of the characters. Dmitry and Kalea are both available for pairing in the demo, and while some weeks (like week one) are intentionally canon-locked to fit certain characters and the broader planned storyline, players will have more agency over who they pursue as the game progresses.

All of the romance options are playersexual, though each RO does have a default/alternate pairing in the event they don’t end up with the MC!

As for Dmitry’s choice to sell you out, that moment is very much about who he is as a character. He’s kind to a fault and tends to follow his conscience, even when it leads to frustrating or messy outcomes.

There is a designated poly route, with Lu as one part of it, but I haven't confirmed everyone's default (and alternate) pairings because I don't want to spoil it. But there will be some jealousy/love triangles, depending who you're paired with :)
