Your bitcoin comparison is irrelevant because, while not "pixels on a screen" bitcoin is just straight up 1's and 0's like everything else that is digital. "Property is property" doesn't make sense here in this context. What you're trying to say I'm assuming, is that regardless of if digital or physical, rights/laws/etc still apply. They do, but only if enforced by a law, or by the party claiming ownership. Similar to copyright laws, if the asset being fought over is not defended against it's use by a second party, then the "ownership" effectively does not exist. So, if the original creator (not you) hasn't answered, and Giants is not enforcing anything (which you also are not), and the party using said asset is not profiting from using it, then it's basically free to
