And yes, your memory does not deceive you, in the demo their Mother did rope them in to her plot.
For the demo, I wrote all the scenarios ending in pretty much the same way, as I wrote it in 2018/19 and though I had a vague idea of how the routes would unfold back then, I knew things would evolve as I came to each route. Of the ones that changed, I think Fred's and Guillaume's changed the most (while the Loveless and Charlotte's has changed a bit, too).
