A bit conflicted on this one - impressive demo, intuitive idea about the story and core mechanics, but the flashing lights aspect has to be removed - permanently.

As someone, who is actually an active worker at an insurance company, I completely felt the stress of this game. I work as general specialist in contact center and the game was truly unsettling. I liked the build up with the boss, the dimly lit office and some of the chats were actually very realistic.

Sadly, the game has 2 major flaws in the design - sound and flashing lights. The sound is absorbedly loud and unnecessary. Sometimes, the horror hides in silence - you could use the buzzing of the lights, maybe the monitor and PC sounds, instead there is this loop of some heavy horror themed music, which broke the immersion. That part can be easily fixed, but the other issue was truly problematic and I can't stress this enough - during the chats, there is a flashing of red light (which I assume was meant to create tension) - it made my eyes and head ache like never before. Please, just remove that completely from the game (again, this is my subjective criticism, but it really, physically affected my body and I don't doubt someone else will have the same experience).

Overall, I do recommend this, but players should be aware for that specific, mind twisting flashing lights, that might cause harm.
Good luck.
Edit: Also, please put the warning in the description. The use of flashing lights is very heavy, unlike other games, where it might be utilized as a jump scare, here it lasts over the period of the character using chatting system.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed comment. I really appreciate it!

I’m glad the demo resonated with you, especially coming from someone who works in a similar environment. Hearing that the stress, atmosphere, and the workplace felt a bit realistic genuinely means a lot to me.

Also, I’m really sorry about the discomfort you experienced. Your feedback about the sound design and the flashing red lights is completely true, I went overboard with those effects. The flashing effect was meant to create tension and give the player some feedback on the stress level, but it’s clear that it can be physically harmful, and that’s not what I want in the game.

I’ll be working on the flashing lights when the character is using the chat and adjusting the audio to rely more on subtle ambient sounds. I’ll also be adding a clear warning in the description.

Thank you again for the feedback, it really helps me improve the game.
