KS announces that Update 0.4 is nearly finished, with only translations left, and alpha testing going well before beta and early access. The update took much longer than expected because it’s far larger than previous versions, requiring significantly more work.
KS explains they’ve been working nonstop for a year, often at the cost of personal time and health, and shares that they’ve been battling severe depression, with the game being a major reason they kept going; they’re now seeking professional help. To protect their mental health, KS may temporarily step back from social interactions like Discord while continuing development and posting updates.
The game will continue, custom renders will follow after translations, and KS hopes for a fresh start and recovery in 2026.
