This is incredibly fun. One issue of gameplay that was painful to discover: I found a prop that let me remove a trouper, and promptly used it to remove the thief…who came back at the end of the season, making it feel like a pointless use of a one-time item. Deck-fixing is fun, please don’t break it. The mechanism where you get new bad troupers at the end of the season is already harsh enough to solve this problem (and should be forecast in advance), don’t just undo deck-fixing on top of that.

I agree. You want to always preserve tension, while not taking away a player’s agency by directly undoing what they’ve done.
