Did you re-download the game ? - Just to make sure, you are not trying to run faulty/corrupted files ...
Did you try the quick-start ... skipping the intro ?
Then there is to look into your hardware and OS ... if your rig can barely handle the OS (forced upgrade Win7 ==> Win10/Win11) ... you will get into trouble with running any demanding software ...
There is a reason, I did not switch to Win10/11 ... my old lady doesn´t like them ...
I tried redownloading the game, didn't solve it. The game just can't handle the Prologue character creator for some reason, most likely the fact I'm on Win11. It's not even a bad or old pc per say.
It specifically happens after I hover over any of the body mods, I can proceed if I just ignore the creator options. I guess it's struggling to load the different models and proceeds to crap itself?
I don't really want to skip the intro because I want to know what's happening in the world. There is an option to customize my character after the prologue, right?
There is an option to customize your MC within the Cheat Menu ...
If you make the right choices during the intro, your MC will get a nice thong and a sundress from the market ... and on day 2 at the lakeside Sammy might get the Exhibitionist perk and loose her virginity ...
My guess is ... The Fixer is made with an older version of Renpy ... and Win11 is often incompatible with older software ...
