I tried the demo a bit, and basically dropped it for 2 reasons:
1. I didn't see anyway to remove cards from the deck, which is the first thing I try to find in rougelike deckbuilding games these day. I visited a merchant, and I thought you could remove cards by clicking on the trash can next to him, only to find out it does nothing, and I didn't see it offered at campsites either. Will this be added to full release since I won't call it a deckbuilding game if you couldn't remove cards at all and are basically stuck with the starting cards through the run?
2. The edge and dull system is very confusing to me, let alone the games rule. when you take a defense turn, I thought that you could use all of your remaining cards for block, but the game only lets you use 1 card to block per enemy, and most cards only block for up to 10, which won't block any enemies hitting you for double that amount. There was also a card that needs 15 dull to get its bonus effect, but I didn't see anyway to increase the warrior's bar to 15 to even benefit off the card (why is the card like that in the game then that needs a therehold higher that your max to even work?)
Also, when viewing cards anyway (deck, combat, etc.), I can barely see the text to begin with and I needed to right-click the card each time to see its effect, which gets annoying to have to bring up menus just to see what you have. I hope that the text will be fixed in the future and when you're in combat, you can see both the attack and defense side of cards so I don't have to right clicking to see both sides all the time.
