I agree. I hate when people ignore the fact that phobias of any kind(Homophobia, Arachnophobia, Thalassophobia) are mental disorders and instead of trying to fight it they just make it their personality. And they even force everyone to adapt to them. Aracnophobic Bro sees game called Arachnopolis and wants arachnophobia mode on it.
Sugarcoating horror games too much makes it lose the HORROR appeal.
But keeping it clear, Im not against putting arachnophobia modes in games, Im more worried with idea of the game getting nibbed negatively by the notion that looks kinda similar to censoring
