I played for like 30 minutes or so and first I want to say is I had fun. It was a bit of a rough start, but harvesting the crops is quite addicting, especially with that sound effect. Its also a nice pace, the earlier crops grow nice and fast so I never had to wait for long. I do see a few points of improvement. First the tutorial. It explained the basics, but I accidentally clicked it away after just learning how to water and I didnt know how to bring it back since the button wasnt translated to english. But even after reading the whole thing I just kind of had to figure out that I was supposed to harvest those bushes. Maybe you can put a few starter carrots in players backpacks to get them started instead of those bushes, because they seem pretty arbitrary and I dont think theyll ever return. The second thing is the quests. I didnt really feel a push to complete them. The first quest is pretty important and I just had to stumble upon completing it. It was about the last accessible feature I tried. Maybe you can have a big tutorial arrow pointing to them, or have it pop up after dismissing the tutorial. My final point is the water. I bought a bunch of it before I needed it because there isnt an explanation for what it does. Thats also why I was surprised when it drained so quickly after digging my canals. Also, at some point I bought like 300% water but then a tag that wasnt translated appeared and it was all gone. That was kind of frustrating considering I put most of my savings in it and didnt have a warning beforehand that this was a thing that could happen. But overall it was pretty fun, Ill definitely play again in the future.
Hey! Thank you so much for playing my game and leaving such detailed feedback. I'm super happy to hear that you enjoyed the harvesting! :D
I have to apologize first—my English isn't very good. I think your idea about 'starting with carrots' is brilliant! I will definitely take your advice. I'm working on fixing the issues and making adjustments right now, especially the translation bugs and the tutorial.
Thanks again for your patience and for helping me make the game better!
