Good work, unfortunate to hear that you're not likely to circle back after the jam though.


I really like the art and the effects, everything feels very rewarding to interact with and looks great too!

The upgrades all feel unique and useful, but I have to echo the issue of upgrade prices. I could really only buy 1 upgrade per shop, even when pretty much always optimizing my exp collection per round, and everything above a white level upgrade was basically unpurchaseable in my runs.

Managed to get to the second boss, but the health skyrocketed and they just spent the entire round teleporting around the map, so I couldn't kill them in time.


Super solid foundation and very high quality, definitely going to try to keep playing in my spare time to try to make it farther. Great work!


(Edit, got lucky and rolled chimkin for a second boss, so it looks like the teleporting might be a novelite issue, but I still do think the health might be a little high lol, hitting a 1.5k enemy for 15 damage cause I got literally no damage ups is crazy work)
