I like the concept of the game! Building platforms using pebbles as stepping stones!

The pyr0xene 3D model fits perfectly in the game! Good job!

Adding an "easy" mode that makes the game accessible for less skilled players is a great addition. This way it's less frustrating and more enjoyable for casual players and, at the same time, you give the option to go "hard" for those who like a challenge.

Some improvement suggestions:

- Audio! Just a little sound effect when placing/removing a pebble and when Biboo jumps would've helped a lot. Maybe a warning sound when the ink is about to rise too.

- Aiming the pebble placement is tricky when the camera position is not consistent. Maybe it's skill issue on my part, since I can't point my mouse cursor precisely and quickly at the same time. (I use a trackball)

- Consider setting aside a couple of days of the jam to get people to play test your game, so you can adjust the difficulty to better suit different player skill levels.

I hope you consider implementing later the elements you wanted to add but couldn't before you ran out of time.

Good game!

Thanks for the feedback!  I didn't consider that people might try to place without stopping, that seemed way too hard to me too.  I'm planning on adding some kind of snapping to other pebbles, so maybe that might help.  Getting some playtesting mid-jam would be great, but I think I need to work on better time management next time for that.  I don't know if you saw, but I submitted 3 min. before the deadline, haha!  After the jam's over I'm definitely planning on going back and adding a bunch of improvements, too!
