Hi. Is it possible that you are using an alternative pico-8 cart player like fake08 or pemsa? I haven't had the opportunity to try the game with these, but my understanding is that the emulation is not totally accurate. It might be failing to reproduce one of the many tricks we did to fit the game in one PICO-8 cart. If so, maybe trying with another cart player might help?
