this might be one of my favorite games from the jam, period. it's so creative and the hp mechanics are so much fun! i love how the overheat mechanic works, i think it's a lot more fun than the usual mp system that causes problems for my hoarder brain haha. i played until i bought every single upgrade i was able to, but i never was able to beat the game. i assume the last wave is an endless one?
either way, the balancing is super good in this game, there's a really good balance of moves and i enjoy the dynamics of playing as a new truck every time you spawn, it makes every run feel a little bit different. and the strategies gets exponentially more fun as you get 2 and 3 party members! also, the characters are bonkers for an rpg ive never seen a jrpg with car protagonists, i think its a really fun choice.
please expand this into a full game, i think it'd make for an incredibly good rpg if it was expanded on! you're really good at game design :3
