Is it usually a thing for this jam that themes are reused? There was already a jam in 2021 with the same theme and by researching the theme it feels a bit weird to find games made with the same theme in mind. Especially if it's the same jam host.
Idk if it's the first time happening or a common thing.
Considering there is one every week... Might just have not noticed that they had this theme before? I think it's fine considering it has been 4-5 years since last time it was used. I just joined here since last week and I think having fun is more important than digging through and seeing if a theme had been used before (unless it was recent).
Typically, I would agree though they should be unique each time.
